the postulates of love are never ever meant to be learned nor ever so-called designed to be easily understood. the metaphor's nicely & very theoraptically adjusted with such given thoughts. your poetry reminds me one thought: "no love's lost. no love's found." when your metaphor talks 'bout same old mistakes & familiar disappointments, she ain't just talk but also bleed in something that's hardly answered to her. with so many questions. mazes. and figments of dark nights she passing or has already passed through, but still... she's seeemd to be so craved for finding the virtue of love that's neither lost nor found. very deep. and young write you have nailed here around.
Right guys seem to be in right places.
Consider who this guy is by what he does
and where he is most of the time.
Nice poem. Tastefully done, well constructed
and smooth.
Do another poem titled. Where I Found My Man.

Hey hon! i realy liked this poem you've realy gotten better at this. When we chatted on myspace awhile back i told you the people who get better are the ones who don't get discouraged keep this up:D
I would have to agree with Travis. Loving and being ok with the self is the most important aspect in life. With a positive vibe to the self, it allows for us to wade through the crap multitudes of bad apples without it getting us down as much.
Keep the hunt on my friend. If the heart is in the right place, you shall find perfection one of these days. Usually when you least expect it.
Great poem about the situation we call romantic life.
:)
isn't that just about how most of us feel, very well expressed and put into writing. Its a matter of having patience, making wise decisions, looking in the right places... but yet, often even with doing all of that, it comes down to that single moment of being at the right place at the right time. Don't give up... he's out there, and when you do find him all the heartache and lessons learned will have helped to only make your relationship that much better. keep those eyes open ;-p AND KEEP WRITING! you have a seriosu talent... and if a man can't appreciate such a passion, then he's blind himself
This is very true. I think everyone feels this way at some point. I know that I feel that way right now. Just when you think you found that person, they let you down in the worst way. It is a very good poem. Very simple but also to the point. I liked it. Nice work.
I think the same things, Sandra, about finding the right woman. It all seems so pointless to me right now, but the question always lingers in my mind. I'm really trying my best to love myself first and foremost, which we all should do, but still, it just doesn't go away until you find someone. I guess it's instinctual...
I ask myself the same question a lot. But, all you can do is wait until he comes along. I hate waiting. ;-) Great poem, it is very well written and your emotion and longing radiate from your words. A wonderful write!
Regardless of each person's view, Love is a very moving concept.
Sounds to me, that you are looking to hard, when instead the right man is supposed to come and sweep you off YOUR feet!
