Vampiric Desire

Vampiric Desire

A Poem by N. Gutierrez
"

This a poem I wrote while watching 30 days of Night and feeling a little carnivorous, this is what my imagination bred.

"

Through the fields of broken glass,

past the forest of a shattered mass.

Once more into the pool of smoldering embers,

twisting laps of morose members.

Gnawing marrow from saliva moistened bones,

feeding hungers of all the alone.

Yearning for the day to fold,

when moon and star break the mold.

Impulses darkly seeped in cancerous bane,

to eager for another gain.

Trails I leave of my insatiable desires,

for wicked wants to light my fires.

Hear me plain you of contrite,

give in and take a bite.
