Sonambulations

Sonambulations

A Poem by Sam & Gavin Khan-McIntyre

Many a time I've taken
Solace in sleep, or strived to
When sleep has lingered however
a temptation making me chase it,hours
Many a time it's defeated me,
Until the early hours it's haunted
me taunted me, thoughtful nights
ruminating on this and that and the other

Whilst I could think of nothing else
or telling it fine I'll get up, chase it away
with a hot drink until it comes chasing
me, so now it comes easily
with temptation and love no
thoughtful nights ruminating
but blissful dreams to fascinate
