Silent

Silent

A Poem by L-AMD
"

Just something I did real quick to put something here. Poetry really isn't my thing but go ahead and give me some feedback.

"

Silent, lonely child in a world full of suffocating pain

You look on with empty eyes and a defeated spirit

Chained to your spot even in the midst of life’s tempest

Merely a hollow spectre invisible to the greedy ignorant

Your innocence can not save you from the darkness

Yet you hold on firmly without complaint or grimace

Digits, bloody and shredded hold tenaciously to the thorny vine of life

Eventually though, the vine will die and you will fall

Only then, when you close those sorrowful eyes

And your body freezes in the pure, soft snow will others look upon you and suffer your pain
