Tear through the Silence

Tear through the Silence

A Poem by MysteriesUnsolved

Ripped, into a million pieces
A shrill voice tearing through the night
Confused, which piece to follow
Is anything worth the while

Thoughts on death, they consume me whole
No air left to breathe
Slowly leading to my demise
The blade made of steel

The energy pent up deep within
Wants to end this vile life
A scream rippling through the silence
Drowns the energy left to try

The thundering of my heart against the beat of my soul
Faints a bit each day, every passing second
To avoid digging a grave, deeper every minute
Let me vibrate, my vocal chords beckon

For when there's too much frustration
With no escape
Let it rip through your lips
And scream away

Well done! I think you handled theme and words, ideas in an objective yet poetic manner. You drive and are driven that kind of energy has velocity which ads your words run for a lifetime.
