As you grow you think things will change, you think that you will find happiness, you actually strive overcoming obstacles to touch the thing that you have so long reached for. What if that thing is intangible... once you are grown you sometimes feel that happiness will never be met because we are continuously changing wanting more. So what is happiness exactly? Can we ever really live in a state of happiness, and are the people who say they are happy genuinely happy?
Living in a state of happiness is not possible, happiness is nothing without fear, sadness, or anger. One is not one without the other or else how would you ever recognize the emotion that is meant to be felt. As humans we internalize our fears, sadness, or anger or jokingly make comments about them and then laugh them off knowing that it is a monster eating away at our very being. We try so hard to make our lives look like this great adventure that is constantly going on 24/7 and if its not we fully crummy about ourselves. It is society that conveys this to us and where does society learn this, from hollywood. However that is not reality reality is the daily struggle to be content with who you are and where your life is, there is no such thing as being continually happy and we are going to have some dark moments in life, its knowing how to control those moments and not letting them consume you that will give you the greatest gift in life....Blissfulness.
