My love is like an illness

It captures all my time

I find I can’t escape this

It stays inside my mind

 

Then slowly as it lingers

My love begins to spread

It tingles through my fingers

And begs me to be fed

 

To feed it would be foolish

To starve it is insane

Adore it and be ravished

My love will ease your pain

 

And now that you are weakened

No strength left for a fight

My love is like a siphon

Your illness, just it’s type

 

So, don’t reject the treatment

‘Tis love that conquers pain

My love will fix your element

You’ll heal and health you’ll gain

 

My love is like a fire

That burns throughout the night

Fulfilled with your desire
