Isn't that what is drilled into our heads as children and young adults

Be yourself
How can you be yourself, if being yourself means standing out in a crowd
When all you wanna do is fit in

Just smile
Welp sorry i only smile with chocolate, chocolate is true happiness.
That and some other stuff that will not be named.

Stay a kid.
But how is this even possible when forced to deal with harsh reality every day.

Why is advice so wrong?
And yet so right in so many ways.

Very true! Be a child, live the way you want! That's easy to say but once you start being, the world jumps on you. They never encourage you for being someone different.

You are right advices seem to be wrong for us but right for the others. Advising someone is easy but following is difficult. This world never understands and just want us to be like it. If we try to be different or even ourself it just pounces on us like an animal preying on its food. It tries to damage us in every possible way. All they want is us to listen to them not telling them what we want or what we think.
