A lot of meaning in few words. I really like that. nicely done. Reminds us that the simple things in life bring joy. Sometimes people forget the beauty of nature. I liked this poem.

Stated so well in such few words. I imagine myself beneath these trees in a hammock. Nice short one. Write on....

The rhyme between of Trees and Breeze and These is s i m p l i s t i c and t e r r i f i c!

It is the pleasure of Nature that transcends inspiration. It is an Artist's wet dream if you ask me.

You sir, are a Dreamweaver!

You can't get much simpler than this... It is odd the power that the perfect words placed in the perfect order can create a feeling or a thought. Using your same words:

The breeze in the trees--
the pleasure of these

Doesn't work nearly as well as what you produced. This is what I love about poetry...word choice and phrasing as so important. Well done!

Thank you very much, it means a lot coming from someone I consider a formidable poet.

You humble me...the pleasure was all mine.
sometimes less is more. this is a shining example of that euphemism. nicely conveyed and well expressed.

Great lines here.

Thank you, I guess people really do appreciate the simple things in life.
Love the simplicity of this, Samuel. After each word I found myself pausing and really absorbing, realizing just how much pleasure I do take in nature and the surreal calmness it gives. Very well done, my friend.
