Life isn't always broken

Life isn't always broken

A Poem by Samuel Bready
"

Don't leave your loved ones with hatred being the last thing you gave them.

"

In the end we do not see,

the constant pain and misery.

The thoughts that aggravated.

The thoughts that kept you bound to hatred.

All of those unchained from the mind so deranged.

Your regrets freed from cage.

Before you leave this life,

you get clarity and insight.

You see all the things you had.

All the things you so wanted bad.

How none of them matter now,

that you cant even make a sound,

under the car so heavy now.

You start to regret everything.

The things you did and said,

you wish to start again.

But you end on the note, that you hated them.

You kept driving to just get away,

from the pain of the same day,

from the dumb fight with scars to stay.

Before the flip on the turn.

Speeding fast and hear a sound,

you opened your phone to find,

a text from the love of your life,

saying I’m sorry please come home.

These fights make me feel alone,

its always the dumb s**t,

as you read you flip in the ditch.

Phone is broke, car is on your head.

Took 3 days to find you dead,

now your love hangs their head.

Fights the thoughts they caused your death

blames themselves everyday,

until one day your love takes the pain away.
