This Perfect World

This Perfect World

A Poem by Samuel Bready
"

Think anyone who has been an IDOL TO MANY then who died or was killed.

"

This perfect world.

A king to be.

Loved by so many.

Bodies feeding the streets.

As they vote.

As they stare.

As gunmen ready their flare.

Rain it pours.

Wind it blows.

Volcanoes erupt.

As snow covers the earth.

When he dies…

Do you care?

Did you meet him?

Was he there?

Who was he really?

Do you know?

One thing happened.

One man was wronged.

People come and people go.

Daily life doesn’t stop for one soul.

But a king he dies.

The world stops and stares.

One life above many.

In this perfect world of ours.
