The Dark Light

The Dark Light

A Poem by Samuel Dave
"

Hell if I know

"
Throw me among the stars
sketch the edges of the dark
bury me in silence
on the unspread wings of luminance

Teach me kindness
kindness that moves towards the light
not the kindness with fear keeps
in the bottom of well meant wells
that merely reflects; almost unreal

Bind me with my promises
bind my life so my words may keep
let my heart say bold and stout
and let it weep with so much doubt

Let me stay beyond the magic of what ifs
dark I may, my hope does gleam
when the black resolves, I may begin to glow
but if you know, only if you know.
