Pink Butterfly

Roam around the world

While you can still flap your wings

My pink butterfly

 

Tears

 

Flow like a river

And paint sadness on my face

I will let you fall

 

Seashore

 

Your coarse sand tickled

The bare and wandering feet

As they trod your sea

 

Star

 

Shine, twinkle for me

Light my soul with hope and love

Shine, guide me tonight!

 

Moon

 

I am watching you

Precious jewel from above

Your glow is my joy

 

Sun

 

Brighten up my day

As you make the flowers smile

I’ll miss you tonight

 

Road

 

Can you tell me road?

Where’s the end of this journey?

I’m already tired!

 

Rain

 

The thirsty meadow

Awaits for you to shower

Your lucid, sweet drops

I'm a big fan of haiku, and I really enjoy the simplicity of these. "I'll miss you tonight" is a wonderful line for the sun.
