Unbullied

Unbullied

A Poem by Sampoorna

A winter there reigns in this seasoned world

The bitter chill is all I taste

For shivers run deep, intrude my sleep

Cold sweat there bears my whole.

A head held high for the privileged few?

Whilst I flinch from the slap of cold glass

Pulsating within, the beat within beat

My breath imprisoned within.

But I unite every drop of courage

I challenge every slice of fear

The enemy shall retreat

I’ve regained my beat

For, dominion, your end is near.
