Understanding Why....

Ever been hurt so much that you are scared to trust again? Then when a good person comes around you are unable to treat them good due to the scars from your past.

Understanding why is one of the most powerful things that one can deal with in life.  Why do so many people come in and out of ones life.  Most people will stay in your heart and leave their fresh foot prints.  These foot prints may last a life time, yet for most they are washed away by a wave of pain that fills your soul.  True we may meet people that we think are perfect in every way, yet as time goes on we find that they are not what we once thought and as the pain starts to set in we hurt.  They may cause too much drama and pain.  None the less when they walk away we are left standing there wondering what we did wrong to have to feel such suffering and a great lonely feeling that you have no where to run to.  Yet in time you learn to deal with the heartache and move on to another that you may or may not lose another time around.  Where does the pain stop?  You start to think that you have done something wrong at one point in your life.  Maybe what comes around goes around.  The pain is so deep that you just sit there for hours and cry a river of heartache. Thinking that you are not worthy of love with another.  Maybe people could stand in my shoes for just one moment and see all that they have done to my soul.  Then they may see what they have done to me all that I suffer comes from them.  Maybe they will see what they have lost and how they in one short smooth blow can crush a person spirit.  Then that one true person comes around you no longer know how to act, because you are so scared that they will leave you in the dust once again.
