Chapter 4: The Goodbye

As soon as we leave The Volturi i fall into Kais arms and cryed remembering the tears pouring down his face as he said " i am breaking up with you, i never liked you" I hear Kai murmuring into my hair " Its okay he didnt mean he realy does like you." Kai picks me up and runs me home and plops me on my bed. I cry intill the blackness of sleep finds me.

I wake up to the blackness of the night and the sound of Hannah throwing pebbles at my window. I go over and i open it, she flys up. I sometimes envy her wings; that she could fly and touch the sky. Maybe if i ask politly i can get some of her temporary wings. But anyway " hi, Hannah" "Hi cloe do you want me to take you on fly?" " Sure" Do you want temporary wings or do you want me to hold your hands?" " Can I have temprary wings". "Sure here they expirer at 12 the next night" She says. She closes her eye and starts to glow, Her wings expanding to full length. I turn around with the feel that if i dont ill have wings on my chest. All of a sudden I hear Hannah Say * Wings for a day " and feel enveloped in a bright warmth. I feel her hands press to my back. I feel a searing pain in my back and fall to the ground.

" ugh" I say. I turn to see Hannah glowing but the marks on her arms, which are exposed, Glow a silver. She lands on the ground in my room, her eyes glowing a golden color. " Hannah.... your eyes are gold." I say. " Yeah, that happens" She says casually. Her eyes flash back to a greenish color, the normal coloer of her eyes.

" okay, what your gonna do is focus on your wings and just, like you would with your arm to move them, just make them move." I do as she says and they move.

" Yay they work!" I say with delight. Hannah smiles with accomlish ment.
