First impressions

First impressions count,
So they say.
But opinions can be changed,
As time goes by.

First impressions are more than likely wrong.
Though being the way we are,
We would never admit it
As we don't want to damage our pride.

First impressions never go as planned,
We make mistakes and embarass ourselves.
Looking back on it we all laugh.
