The bonds that unite

United we stand,
And fall one by one
Like a row of dominos.
Our interests bring us together,
Conflict separates us apart.
One word is the key,
Holding the power to change.
All we have to do is mute our egos,
And swallow our pride.
Then and only then,
Will the word escape our lips,
Bringing us together.
We are people together,
But friends forever.
