Bathing Scene

Bathing Scene

A Poem by Samith Pich

bathing scene

spun poetry like light

so many images of you

alive with touch

steam diffuses sight

until there is only us

me & you

my gold watch

winks under our calves

your fingers slice

translucent waters

hands like feet, feet

like buttocks, buttocks like

your neck, pooling into valleys

spilling over your shoulders

restless hair dripping disguise

like night drenched eyes

imprints of my body

waterfall dark intentions

I see dark blue
like a bathroom
with no light on
but the street lights
pierce the gloom

"hands like feet, feet
like buttocks, buttocks like
your neck," - this gave me an impression of merging...or maybe the water has made everything so wrinkly that it's hard to tell body parts apart? tee hee

Really nice work. Kind of slow, in a mellow way...simultaneously intense and mellow.
How 'bout that, folks?

Thanks for posting this.

This is the stuff. Quiet like ripples of dark water. Your words steal over the soul and hint at warm nights. Lovely words.
