Break thorugh the Shadows

The shadows choke down whats left of the light
I need to get out, fast, I need to fight
The darkness is chasing me, I'm running for the door
Save me, I'm falling, falling to the floor
The shadows are creeping closer, They're gonna get me
If I let them get too close, I'll never be free
The door is in my sight, I'm almost, almost there
Something grabs me, pulls me back, this isn't fair
Im scared, I claw, hit, and scratch
I fall to the ground, waiting for an idea to hatch
My body starts to hurt, I must get out
I'll be alright, I'll get free, right? Im starting to doubt
I give up, I cant fight anymore, I start to weep
A light shines bright, cutting the darkness deep
And......
I'm free

An awesome poem, and the ending is kinda a double-edged sword...it can be interpreted as if the character died and went to heaven, hence the light, but it can also be interpreted obviously - the light destroyed the darkness.
I like the death interpretation better, even though it's kinda depressing XD

I thought it was a very good poem, one thing i noticed was that the lines could have been different, like at every comma, but that might be a problem for some of them. good jjob.
