The hero comes back to his bride dead after the war

He said he would come

Even before the war was won

His bride waited for him

Because her lover was finally coming

He came hanging from his horse

His dead face showing his remorse

Her hero had fought and died

A pride settled on her sadness which she could not hide

The unmarried widow walked to her lover's said

Rested her head on his heart and died
