Preface

Her life seemed so out of balance.

The things she thought that were real weren't and the things she wanted to deny haunted her.

The shadows in the darkness seemed to be faceless, like danger lurking in the corners. By the time Evangeline had the time to think, life as she knew it went to hell. Her brothers had died, her mother raped, her father staked. She was alone in this piteful world. But she was only a teenager walking in a desert. Everything un liveable and dangerous. Whatever creature lived amoung her - she must break free.
