Beyond the GraveyardA Story by Samantha EvansI was all alone. The sky seemed draker than before. The wind had become slightly colder. I was walking, my coat wrapped around me snugly. I had my sketchbook in hand and a pencil in my pocket. It was strange for over a week I had been having these dreams about a certain boy. I didn't know his name, didn't know if he was real. I just knew he was extrodinary. His face haunted me, it was too handsome. Beautiful couldn't describe it, and perfect was an understatement. His cruly golden brown locks hugged his face in the most suting way ever. His eyes, honey brown and loving, made me sink to my knees. His ivory skin looked flawless and smooth. He was taller than me that's for sure, he looked about 6'5 in my dream. But then again, it was only a dream [...] "Loraine . . ." someone called my name. I turned around. No one was there. I finally arrived to the weeping willow, sat down and started sketching this beautiful person i had so imagined for a while. I was almost done when I heard a branch break. I looked around, but I only saw a shadow lead to a graveyard. I must be paranoid but there was no way I was going to go in the graveyard. "Loraine . . ." the voice velvety smooth and captivating. I got up, when I did my sketchbook fell in a puddle. "No- " I trailed off. As I reached for it, a cold hand went for it as well. I looked up to see those perfect honey brown eyes stare at me. It was all sereal. "Here." He said in the same velvet voice. "Thanks." I said taking my sketchbook from him. As I got up he did too. "I'm Jasper." He said nicely. "Hi." I said nicely.
How was this possible? How could I have drempt of this wonderful human being to find out he existed? How weird it must have been for him to see his picture on the paper as he got my book. "I - I" I had lost my train of thought. "Come with me..." He trailed off locking our arms together. I started to walk with him, our arms together. He looked straight ahed, but I couldn't help looking at him. He was so irrestibly handsome, everything about him made me shiver with joy. "I know you." He said nicely. "You do?" I asked skeptically. "Yeah, don't take this the creepy way but I've had dreams of you." He said nicely. Something we had in common. "Have you had some of me?" He asked his voice sounding flirtatious. He moved his other arm around me and took the sketchbook. He opened it and saw his picture. "I-I, yes." I said looking up in his eyes. They were filled with a feeling a haven't seen before. Happiness? Sadness? Fear? Love. It was then I noticed we had gone beyond the graveyard. "Loraine-" he said my name, making it sound so perfect. I blushed, I could feel the warmth of my blood in my cheeks. "Yes." I asked looking profondly in his eyes. He looked like he was so vunerable. "How can I say this..." He said removing his arm from mine. "Say what?" I asked coming closer to him. Our faces were inches appart. He bent down and kissed me, his lips leaving a cold feel to mine. But none the less, our lips moved as one, becoming one, moving in perfect unision. I smiled as I blushed and looked down at my feet. How did I deserve such a man? "I have to go..." He said with a tone, his words peircing me. How could he leave? "What do you mean?" I asked nicely. "I have to go and leave this world. I don't belong." He said. "What? That makes no sense." I said touching his arm. "Loraine, I'm not what you think I am. I'm not even real if you think of it." Jasper said. "So then what are you?" I asked tears stinging my eyes. "Not here." He said, then vanished before my very eyes. "What? Jasper...where are you, wait!" I shouted. No use. I felt so stupid. So hurt and betrayed, but how could this be? He was a stranger.
I sat next to a gigantic tomb stone. I rested my head against the stone and cried until there were no more tears. It was then that I noticed I was bleeding, a whole in my chest the size of a basseball. I bled and bled until I could bleed no more. Then I saw a white light, the light of guidance that made me relax. As I approched it, I saw Jasper. "Don't ever leave me again." I whispered as I ran to him. "I'm never going to, I promise." He said. And then by the time everything was done. I knew I was dead, but with Jasper everything would be okay.
