Lockout (part 2)

Lockout (part 2)

A Story by Samantha Evans

I thought I was supposed to die.

Not that anyone would care. But I thought I was supposed to fade away.

"Phil?" someone asked with a sweet angelic whisper.

"Phil, are you awake?" it was definitely a girl. How did she know my name?

I opened my eyes, the light hurting them, making me squint.

Once my eyes adjusted, I noticed the girl on top of me.

Her brown hair dangling softly off her beautiful face. Her blue eyes stained with concern. She looked worried almost frightened, but of what?

“Phil can you hear me?” she asked frantically.

I nodded. It hurt but I nodded.

“Say something.” She said nicely.

What to say? I didn’t know her but she knew me.

I was a nobody, she might be a somebody.

No one cared for me, but she did…right?

“Who are you?” my voice all dry and hurtful. It was the first thing to come to mind.

She smiled sweetly, the most dashing smile I’ve ever seen.

“I’m Rosalie Hollands…” she trailed off nicely.

She kept smiling. I had no idea what my expression but I was happy someone cared.

“Come, I’ll bring you to my place.” She said helping me up.

You know that feeling where you feel you’ve been hit by a bus or a train, imagine that but a thousand times worst.

I felt my knees tremble then collapse underneath my weight.

“Hey, careful there. Come on, my cars right there.” she said pointing at a silver rusted car.

Rosalie helped me all the way there, then let me in the backseat.

“I’m going to bring you home okay? Keep some pressure on that wound.” She said driving away.

I started feeling noxious. I started closing my eyes, I was feeling weak. Then she came to an abrupt stop.

“Phil! Stay with me! Don’t close your eyes. We’re almost there. Don’t quit on me!” she said. She kept repeating herself.

Then she stopped and got out of the car.

“Come on. Charlie, help me!” She said calling out to someone. Next thing I knew I was being lifted by this guy. His russet curls hitting my face. Shock was showing in his brown eyes.

“Rose, what are you thinking? If Liam finds out…” he started to say but I felt my eyes close again.

“Charlie shut up! Get him inside. Ralph! I need help!” Rosalie yelled to someone. By this point I had the feeling that I was in a house. I opened my eyes, three people surrounded me. Rosalie, looking beautiful as she was, the guy named Charlie and a man that looked to be roughly in his forties. His black hair had a greyish tint to it. His eyes looked concerned, as everyone’s eyes where lately.

“Phil, you’re going to be okay. This is Ralph (she placed a hand on the old man’s shoulder) and this is Charlie (she placing her other hand on the boy’s shoulder).” she said nicely in her sweet voice.

“Thank you, Rose.” I said nicely.

She smiled, her perfect, dashing smile. She was so lovable - so unique. Why would a creature this perfect, this superb care about a nobody like me?

“May we have some time alone?” she asked the others with a slight tone. I didn’t need to hear them answer they left with only smiles on their faces.

“Do you know who I am?” she asked sitting down beside me, on a bed?

I shook my head. But it hurt too much. “No…” I replied with a slightly sadden tone.

“I-I’m the one who save you.” she said. Obviously, I knew this.

“I know… but I just know you’re name. How do you know me?” I asked.

She turned her head slightly, I could sense she was becoming embarrassed, which explained the slight tint of pink on her cheeks.

“I’ve kind of been following you. Ever since I knew Liam was getting you. I had to save you. I am as you can say a guardian.” she said shyly.

I reached for her arm gently, her skin felt so smooth, her softness and warmness made my heart skip a beat.

She looked up, her blue eyes glowing, into my eyes. Never have I felt this way about a girl. It was weird, the sudden urge to make my lips move around hers, make my arms wrap around her waist and body reassuringly. Make my body move in a rhythmic way with hers, make my body collide as one with hers. It was a new sensation. Something I wanted to experience for the first time.

She leaned in towards my face, I brought myself closer to her too. As she came extremely close to my lips, I closed my eyes as she did. Then something unimaginable happened. Our lips met, moving in complete motion as one. Her tongue brushed my bottom lip, I let my instincts guide me so I opened my mouth to welcome her sweet tongue into my mouth. Out tongues were dancing together as a unit, not battling for dominance, I let her guide me. I knew once she started leaning into me that I had to move back. But I only ended up lying myself on the bed before her.

“Rose…” I interrupted. If she wanted to do what I think she wanted to…I’d have to tell her what I felt.

“Yes Phil?” she asked her radiant voice ringing in my ears.

“I love you.” I said, it was weird but in this little bit of time I had grown to love Rosalie. She had been the only one to care, the only one to love me back.

“I love you too.” she said smiling, I had to do it, I brought my lips back to hers. At first she moved fluently but then the same beautiful rhythm of tongue against tongue began. I felt her move her hands from either side of my arms to her shirt. She pulled it off in one swift movement. Her warm hands roamed up my back then caught the hem of my shirt. She tugged it off in one movement too. She stopped kissing my lips and moved to my neck.

I allowed my hands to roam her back as well. She gasp on my neck but once she knew what I was doing she continued kissing.

I moaned in ecstasy as she moved her hands in my hair and my back.

I didn’t know if this was allowed but as I cupped her breast with care she moaned as well.

“You’re beautiful…”I whispered in her ear.

She looked at me, her eyes shinning with an unknown feeling I hadn’t seen in someone’s eyes before, was this perhaps the look of love?

She crawled down my body. Kissing my chest, my torso, my abs and then came to a halt by my pants. She hesitated at first but in the end unbuttoned them always looking at me in the eyes.

“Rose -” she cut me off by slipping my pants at my ankles.

“Phil…” she said in a whisper.

I looked down, never have I seen someone so beautiful.

She came back on top of me. I cradled her against my body, kissing her exposed flesh. I hadn’t done this before.

As our momentum and breathing quickened, our body’s became one. I hadn’t expected this to happen. A stranger to find me in my time of need, give me life, a sense of caring and love, give me one thing I couldn’t have on my own and now this? She was my true saviour. As our bodies intertwined, I couldn’t resist but to moan and groan with the sudden energy. I felt more a live than ever. I felt free like I could fly. It wasn’t after she started to moan louder that I realize it was almost over. I had to come, for her sake at least.

“Phil!” she yelled as she tightened around me.

I came as well shouting her name. My first time was with someone I cared.

I fell on her side. I hugged her against me, reassure her she wasn’t alone.

“I love you…” I whispered, my breathing still in fast tempo.

“I love you too…” she said her arms wrapping around me too.

As the night ended, we got into the covers and fell asleep.

Things had gotten better.

I knew it.

I could feel it.

For once I wasn’t a nobody.

I was a somebody to a someone that was very important to me.

Maybe faith had gotten the best of me this time.

But I knew things had changed for the best.
