Unforgettable

Unforgettable

A Poem by Samantha

I put up the walls again

Acting like it doesn’t bother me

Laughing it off, playing along

But deep down inside

It breaks my heart

Knowing that they are wrong

Knowing that they are right

I may never discover what could have been

If dreams will become a reality

But until then I’ll keep on hoping

That one day my prince charming will be mine

I like the back and forth - the way this is written alludes to the confusion it describes. Good usage.
