Just Us

I sit on my bed and write poems about you,
And I think about how one day it will only be us two.
I think about you almost everyday,
And some of those thoughts aren't always okay.

I know we should be together,
And that we will last forever and ever.
I never thought that I'd feel like this about someone again,
But I think I know how it's going to end.

I am glad that it's just us two,
And that we don't have to worry about what people say or do.
I know that some wishes don't come true,
But I hope that this one is one of the few that do.
