Lessons

Pacing with my fellow velvet cloak

Icicles are dawning around the bushes

Treading on the icy pavement

Old grin I captured

Greeted me with a heartfelt chime

Stridden some far

With an amicable gaze to the top of Pine

Retrospect how they grown

Another gracious gesture

From an average lass

Whispered a merriest “Hello”

That blue cooper of our Peter is moving

Along the frozen runway

Mummers about the breezy morn

With some newborn smiles behind

Wish, if I could shade them

Just like the old days

Though minutes don’t listen to me

Gradually my curly threads caught grey

Letters I defined over years

Crafted uncountable makers

Nevertheless they still wore those cotton hearts

Which I taught

With that same previous smile
