Lilith's Veil

Lilith's Veil

A Poem by SamaelAndLilith

Creator of morality,
Protector of fools,
Restrain the superior,
Child's play's rules.

Bind your secrets,
'Till none prevail,
To free your desires,
Beneath Lilith's Veil.

Feel no guilt,
The mind won't miss.
Don't waste your pity,
For ignorance is bliss.

Of lust and passion,
No safety lies,
But lie with lust,
Until passion dies.

Better in theory,
No history trails,
Than practice with pasts
That makes for sad tales.

But built up with ages,
It can't lay untouched,
No option presented,
I know what I want.

When all is over,
And all is pain,
Decisions await,
From which, refrain?

Better to walk from
What would have become,
Than to leave behind
True good and run.

And better to regret
What has been done,
Than to endlessly wonder
What could have become.
