My Apologies to Rose

My Apologies to Rose

A Poem by B

I see you there everyday
At the window to be seen
All you see are your thorns
But what I see is the bright red and the smell
Oh, what a wonderful sent

You think yourself no higher then a daisy
But you are the best in the shop

However, I am but a shopkeeper
So, I know we will part
With a Rose so sweat
Who would not buy?
And with the slight chance you still sit at the window
I may just take you in
As my Rose

But till then, I cannot
My Apologizes to Rose
