Isolation

Feeling lonely lately..

I have feelings that need acknowledgement. 

I have dreams that stay a lament.

I have words that go unsaid.

I have burdens that weigh like lead.

I still cry like I'm newborn.

I still long for what's been torn.

I still scream, in hopes you'll hear.

I still dream and end in fear.

I see the bodies, but they are blind.

I see the truth, I'm not their kind.

I see the thing I wish to attain.

I see it as I pear through heavy rain.
