A Simple Offering

A Simple Offering

A Poem by Sam Sin Sepultura
"

Creepy little poem I put together, hope you enjoy it.

"
If you wake to red eyes in the night,
lock your doors, turn on a light.
Don't let him smell the fear from you,
he'll drain you dry, he'll turn you blue.
Spill a single drop of crimson on the bed,
a small offering, or he'll take your head.
Say his name from under breath.
He's coming close, he's worst than death.

He's the essence of putridity that manifests.
The maggots know he never rests.
A shadow of the forests and the things that decay.
He longs for flesh and hopes you'll stay.
Don't turn your head and don't close your eyes.
You may end up devoured, by him or by the flies.
So light the candles and build a blood oath shrine,
give him your soul or he will dine.
