Holding my heart

For all to see

Counting each teardrop

That falls for you

Showing how much I'll do

 

I'll stand there patiently

Till the end of time

All the while

Wishing you were mine

 

Staring into the dark depths

Of my frozen soul

Waiting for you

To bring warmth to the cold

 

I need you with me

So fly like a dove

For only you can save me

I thought it was fairly good all around. Generally love poems do not turn out well without sounding sappy or overly heartfelt, but I thought that this one conveyed enough emotion without turning to mush. The last stanza could almost have been left out. By the time it came around, things started to get repetative, but I quite liked it. Keep it up.

Beautiful poem! It's very emotional , it has a lot of feeling, and everything seems to be expressed perfectly!
Sometimes poems don't have to rhyme, but this one rhymes very well.
