Virginity Reprised

Virginity Reprised

A Poem by Sam

Slap and tickle,
This is no time to be fickle,
Hang off my neck
Like a love thirsty vampire,
My love is not yours.
But for an hour or so
My body belongs to you.
So watch it grow,
I'll go and go.

A pleasing tease,
The right amount of squeeze,
Brought me to the boil
Let my body recoil
And simmer with joy,
A quivering lavender boy.

Arms wrapped around eachother,
Drowing in intimacy
The type normally achieved thorough meditation,
Or medication.
The world ceased,
The past erased.

For those few minutes I knew nothing of who I was.
I forgot my Father's Cancer;
My stoic self sabotage,
My Mother's departure,
That Jamie Law forgot to call.

It was like losing your wallet
Or your virginity
Only to find it lying in the gutter
Later on.

Like losing your wallet or your virginity . . . you always combine words in such a matter-of-fact shocking way. Honesty is like that sometimes.I liked the meditation/medication line, too. Another stunning write.
