Quite A Catch

Quite A Catch

A Poem by Sam
"

A nice self deprecating poem on relationships.

"

Where is he?
The creative boy,
To heal the wounds inflicted by the former,
He simply cannot be found in a sauna.
An effective bandage to
Neutralise the human bondage.

I'm pretty
Sure I'll find a good one,
Someone to bruise and leave behind,
F**k him blind.
I'm a flaming apparition of all that's conceited,
Dice with death, try me,
I'll make you love me,
Whether you like it or not.
Irrepressible and irresistable;
Not your match,
But quite a catch.

Shared interests, my desire,
Ignite conversation like a rampant bonfire,
Explosive chemistry
As far as the naked eye can see.
Down on my knees,
He'll be such a prick tease.

Naturally this is blatant fantasy,
Only exists in my pregnant mind,
Reality you'll struggle to find,
All part of my crooked charm
Don'tcha think?

Immersed in the vulgarity of latent fear,
My nude obsessions copulate on a luscious bed of debauched dread.

No man such as this can exist,

I used to be a realist,
Now I'm romantic,
The possessor of a wounded heart,
My own pathetic work of art.
