DistanceA Poem by Samantha GreeneGrowing trees and blossoms Across your
disheartened despair. Swapping dust
for shine. Vines and roses
cover an apocalyptic grown valley.
Tranquility and
welcoming Hidden with
distressing mystery. Bringing life, With this love
we’ll touch. Hearts brighter
than lights.
Wandering along Oh sweet flower
child, Where have you
gone? Through the
deadness of the night? Must have been
stricken by the fight, In a dream world
that will never truly belong. Quite a fantasy
for a girl in love with her getaway dream.
Tired from the
fight. Heart full of
delight. Doesn’t belong
in this town at all. So much to offer
with so little cared. Some people can’t
belong- Living in a
dream is sometimes the best way to go along. Hearts
averring a city that never sleeps.
