Your Poems Breathe

Dedicated to Light and her amazing living poems. This poem is written in quatrain form with eight syllables each line and abcb, defe, etc rhyming.

we are all performers in a way....poets don't have the biggest audience, but those who attend are usually affected in some way by what we write.

I love your line "eyes travel from verb to phrase"
that is pretty much how I write.
and I do believe poems breathe...we give them life, they are our children...
they are conceived then breathe on their own.
