To a nana I miss

To a nana I miss

A Poem by Sam87
"

The second poem I wrote, my nana had just passed away and I were over the anger stage.

"
You meant so much to all of us,
you were special, thats no lie.
You brightened up the darkest day,
and lifted the dullest sky.

Your smile alone could warm out hearts.
Your laugh like music to hear.
I would right now give anything, to have you standing near.

Not a second passes,When your not in my mind.
Your love won't be forgotten, the pain might ease in time.

Many tears I've seen and cried,
pouring out like rain.
I know that you are happy now,
no longer in the pain.

About
I have been writing poems since 14 when my nana passed away, I'm not saying they're any good, but when my head is a bit messed up they help me organise my thoughts. They tend to be about my relationsh.. more..
