I don't care what they say

I don't care what they say

A Poem by Sam87
"

I wrote this when I got with my ex. As it turned out I should have listened to people, but at the time I couldn't see past him.

"
I don't care what they say,
About me, about you,
After all, in the end,
What's the worst they can do?
They'll say that its wrong,
That I'm playing games,
It isn't quite 'normal',
We'all both be called names.
But the moment you held me,
The moment we kissed,
All doubt disappeared, in
The beat my heart missed.
Despite all our issues,
we both have a few,
I know in my heart,
All I need now is you.
So hold onto me tightly,
It'll be a rough ride,
But I know we can make it,
If fate's on our sides.

I really liked this, we all know someone in a bad relationship and no matter how many people tell them it's no good for them, makes no difference. You have a great knack of hitting on subjects that must affect many and you have a great honesty about it. Well done.
