Does age really matter

Does age really matter

A Poem by Sam87
"

I wrote this when I were 20. It was my first time admitting to myself that I were interested in older men, and I knew the people around me wouldn't like it.

"
Does age really matter
When time passes right on by
Everyone's born equal
And equally they die
So why worry about age
Restrictions, crossing lines,
The young want to be older
And for youth the elder pine.
Love doesn't have an age limit
Hearts don't have sell by dates
So why let others come between
A love that could be be great

Great poem, no age doesn't matter, you can have a young person who is old before their time and an older person who loves to party - u click with who u click with regardless of age - well done I enjoyed your poem.

I found this to be an interesting poem. It really does make you wonder does age really matter? At my age I never thought about it. Been married quite a long time. Thanks, for sharing. Eva
