Cause and Effect

Cause and its effect
is widely understood
Helping us understand
the bad from the good

 

When we are upset
and we do not know why
We have failed to look for causes
so now give that a try

 

Believing it is a mystery
is a poor thing to do
It delays looking for causes
that gave the misery to you

 

Admitting to the causes
is the first way to improve
Changing your behavior
means it is now your move

 

Denial about the causes
is a common way to fail
It has led many miserables
to find themselves in jail

 

If we cannot tell a friend
about the bad way we feel
We probably can't admit
to some causes that are real

 

Cause and effect only works
with statements that are true
Helping yourself to feel better
are changes you must do

 

While some choose to believe
the causes were not what they did
It is a clear admission
that they are still just a kid
