Love Lasts

The time of your life
is your part of forever
those who managed to live longer
found a way to be more clever

 

One plan they use
to enjoy their years
is to continue their cruise
believing in forever

 

Our earthly time alive
of forever is a small part
my pIan includes writing
that comes from my heart

 

I believe every human
owns a small part of time
evolution has given this
 in our life so sublime

 

Being remembered well
is really not very hard
 give often to others
and share in their regard

 

Though it used to seem strange
 that a few words could make me cry
they would bring forth the tears
now I believe I know why

 

If my words make it clear
 what I have tried to say
you can see that words of love
have helped me find my way

 

As you read what I wrote
may my words do the same for you
I hope you see this as a gift of love
you always do the best that you can do
