Sunlight

Sunlight

A Poem by Sam Freeland
"

better than darkness

"

Light dim or bright

must be right

Before any fight

it is best to have might

You are better with sight

or you will think it is night

Your efforts will be slight

and cause your fright

Lack of sunshine caused the blight

due to its faraway distant hight

We are no longer upright

so now we say goodnight

Such a plight

tonight

I like the way you set-up the view of sunlight. Nice movement of words and I like the thoughts create by the statements in the poem. A excellent poem.
