and what you do

If the view you have is different
and you think you must be wrong
It could lead you further astray
to thinking you don't belong

 

Should this ever happen to you
oppose it with all of your might
Opposition is very necessary
in attempts to find what is right

 

Giving in is very easy
but will weaken your resolve
Your decisions will be questioned
in problems you hope to solve

 

What you see is your view of life
about which others little know
Listen but do not follow
following is for the slow

 

Practicing assertion
will help you take the lead
Others will follow a leader
they know that is what they need

 

You will find that others listen
to those whose beliefs are the best
Separating winners and losers
clearly from the rest

 

Leading will be difficult
with paths that were not tried
If your view follows the truth
your choices will not be decried

 

Join the fray with vigor
it will help you carry the day
Followers need this from leaders
there is no better way
