regardless of what we believe
The reality that we live with
measured by receive

 

Expecting more is intrinsic
the real power of success
Unfortunately when extrinsic
the results are often less

 

Every act needs consideration
or results come out wrong
Hindsight has been telling this
if we ever hope to belong

 

The part we play in living
was primarily our choice
It echoes every day
in the sound of our voice

 

We cannot blame the start
it is over and done
Now it is your turn
if you haven't yet begun

 

Will tomorrow be intrinsic
or the result of someone's force
Better to think carefully
before life has run its course

 

Extrinsic is too common
not good for the active mind
Get busy and face the truth
before getting left behind
