friendship at risk

Since behavior is what we do
and described by what others see
Viewing is colored by opinion
we hope that all agree

 

Opinions try to recall
events previously seen
If prejudice is not present
opinions won't be mean

 

When you ask for an opinion
you get what's in their mind
A mind not based on facts
can be very unkind

 

Having a plan for your behavior
will help in what you do
You will need less opinion
to describe what is true

 

Knowing the limits of opinions
and why they are not facts
Will help others understand
what happened in our acts

 

Relationships with others
are affected by what we feel
We get along much better
when our feelings are real

 

A major cause of disagreement
is our loyalty to some group
When groups do not agree
our kinship we cannot recoup

 

Behaviors need adjustment
by keeping an open mind
Or we will lose relationships
never more to find
