Opinions

Opinions

A Poem by Sam Freeland
"

work is fact

"
Plagued by uncertainties of life
opinions can make it harder to cope
Unemployment will become a fact
when too many have given up hope

Hope can be found through Scripture
prayer helps problems get solved
By bringing us closer to others
it will help us to get involved

Even in tough times there is work
for those who believe they can
Being willing to do what is needed
there's a job for every woman or man

Workers must deal with facts
negative opinions cause confusion
To do the tasks of the job
our focus will cause less intrusion

Thoughts expressed in a poem
are the opinions needed to write
Success that the poet might have
will hopefully shed some light

No one could complete a poem
by ignoring the tasks required
It takes writing that has meaning
for any hope to be admired

Belief in yourself to keep going
is the best way to ever get there
Find someone who has a job
to see if there is work you can share

Good workers can all use help
from those who are willing to learn
Mentors are the best workers
with results having a greater return

Your words remind me of my dear Grandfather. He told me. A man must stand on his two feet. Be strong and seek to better himself. Not wait and hope for a good life." I like the logic of this poem. Life can be hard. We must be strong and seek to find a good life and road to be upon. A strong ending to a outstanding poem.
