more money is more wealth
It could give more access
to doctors and better health

 

Eating healthier food
doesn't require more wealth
Expensive dinners often cause
a life with poorer health

 

The cost of food we eat
should not be the only test
Many foods are less expensive
and are be better than the rest

 

When fashion controls choices
health may be overlooked
Many inexpensive foods
just need to be cooked

 

Salt gets used extensively
to give food the right taste
The body gets to suffer
and sooner goes to waste

 

Salt is an example of fashion
which some learn in their early years
It is known to cause early death
and bring your family to tears

 

Societies who are vegetarian
have many fewer heart ills
But many wealthy eaters
kill themselves with pills

 

Use a little intelligence
and eat foods that lead to health
You can smile as you age
and it won't be due to wealth
