Connections

are the goal

Tweeting fills our need to share
though the connection is often a bit thin
Much better than just being alone
with no one to share a grin

 

We normally prefer a good friend
to share thoughts personal and true
But maybe the tweeting connection
will bring that true friend to you

 

If we don't reach out and try
our days will end up the same
Looking at the walls for company
wondering if we were to blame

 

Our tweets are original thoughts
much like the lines written here
Chosen with the hope for connection
with a friendly atmosphere

 

Tweets are limited in scope
by the devices we use to send
For those who care what we say
they won't be seeing it as pretend
 
It may even promote a response
such a review we would like to see
A connection would then exist
costing little and almost for free

 

So turn on your iPhone and try
I'll be waiting here with an answer today
If more than one person responds
you will all get to enjoy what I say
