Learning

and the good life

Competition is always healthy

It keeps active people alive

Some choose not to participate

for them it'll be hard to survive

　

Learning is brain directed

telling us when its time to eat

If the brain says that's enough

stop and try not to cheat

　

Learning begins before birth

the brain already knows what to do

Controlling everything in the body

making healthy choices for you

　

The form of our physical size

was inherited in our DNA

Four proteins enabling survival

our life gets its start this way

　

The years have come and gone

evolution gave us the way we look

Many good people still believe

creation is described in the Good Book

　

Body chemicals are amazing

working hard to keep us alive

If we eat a balanced diet daily

there is better hope to survive

　

Our food tastes start being simple

being fed by a uterine connection

It explains the tastes of very young

when some foods suffer rejection

　

Learning faces another plateau

about around the age of two

Any suggestions to this child

will not be what they want to do

　

Individuality is very healthy

we need it to improve our mind

Give children your loving care

it will teach the to be kind
