mind destroyers

 

Listening to comments absurd
is debilitating to the mind
A regular diet of this drivel
will soon have you left behind

 

Before you are even aware
of the damage done to you
Your critical thought processes
will also stop functioning too

 

Criticism is vitally important
as it sorts the good and the bad
When critical thinking is lost
you lose your sanity and are glad

 

Dementia may lie in the future
for the mind only wanting to please
The world will blow them away
even with the slightest breeze

 

Taking a stand could be the answer
to holding the critical fort
For those not willing to start
there will only be a bad report

 

Anyone able to describe
how the world sets people apart
Is already following their own plan
its just what is called "street smart"

 

Even separating the rich and the poor
freedom is a financial game
It is already very obvious
that equality does not mean the same

 

Joining the "haves" takes a long time
for those still trying to decide
There is little chance to ever get there
they won't be going for the ride
